Growing up in the country I came to love the beauty of the natural world. My mother had a large garden for vegetables and flowers and I came to know all of the particular plants and their gestures and moods. Recently I have had the privilege of documenting the Yale Sustainable Food Project, a wonderful program that demonstrates that people will respond when they are offered a choice of good food. Soon I will have some pictures of that project online, but for now there are several garden pictures to look at.
